Having pursued the freshest fish in Billingsgate market for over 25 years, Kaz Tateishi has had the passion for preparing his fish into sushi for sushi loving Londoners. His ambition was always to let everyone know the taste of real Japanese sushi. With his first shop opened in October 2014, he had finally begun making his dream into reality by putting a smile on all of his customers.
The reason why our shops are not called restaurants, is from the fact that they are takeaway shops. We pre-prepare a lot of sushi boxes and other great food so that busy customers can just pop by and pick one out from the fridge, and what’s not there can be ordered to be made on the spot. Another reason we are called shops, is because we sell a selection of Japanese groceries, from snacks to condiments. Though this is our main concept, we do have a few seats for people to eat in as well.
We strive to produce the finest sushi for all Londoners at an affordable price, to display the true taste of Japanese food. Our main objective is to see the smiles on all of our customers from tasting our sushi.
A sushi takeaway shop first opened in the heart of Angel, in October 2014. Even with a great deal of struggles in the first year, word of mouth and keeping a good reputation resulted in great feedback on online reviews. Thanks to you guys, we have managed to open our second shop in Shoreditch in September 2018.
